Itinerary

Day 1: Reach Delhi

Arrive in Delhi, you will be greeted by our representative at the airport/railway station. Check into your hotel and relax for a while. Later in the afternoon, visit spectacular Qutub Minar. Next visit Hauz Khas Village, paradise for shoppers, the narrow lanes of the village are crammed with boutiques selling designer Indian clothing, handicraft and much more. There's a variety of cuisine you can try here. After spending quality time in the colorful lanes, visit India Gate,  a memorial for the soldiers who laid down their lives in World War I and Afghan War. Come back to your hotel at night.

Day 2: Full day Delhi tour

It's a day to explore rest of Delhi. After breakfast, leave for Old Delhi, visit the Mugal-era Red Fort and Jama Mazjid. Enjoy rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk. Next move to Rajghat to pay respects to the father  of nation Mahatma Gandhi. Then move over to Himanyun tomb and enjoy the drive to the parliament on Rajpath. Come back to your hotel in the evening after a long day of sightseeing.  

 

Day 3: Delhi to Agra

After breakfast, depart for Agra, it's a 3 hrs long drive. After reaching Agra city, check in to your hotel and relax for a bit. Later visit the wonderful Taj Mahal- the epitome of love. Spend some quality time exploring every nook and corner of the beautiful Taj corridor. Capture the beauty of one of the wonder's of the world in your camera. Next visit Agra fort and enjoy shopping in Agra's busting market. Come back to your hotel, enjoy good food and sound sleep.

Day 4: Agra to Jaipur

After breakfast, leave for Jaipur. En-route see Fatehpur Sekri, the ancient Mughal capital. Check in to your hotel in Jaipur. Later enjoy your evening at the Rajasthani cultural hub, Choki Dhani along with yummy local cuisine. Reach back to your hotel and sound sleep.

 

Day 5: Jaipur sightseeing

It's the day to explore the lovely pink city, Jaipur. Start with the colorful City Palace and Museum, followed by Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal. Next visit Jaigarh fort, Nalagarh fort and Amer fort. Later in the evening see Jal Mahal, situated in the middle of the lake. Also enjoy camel ride along the lake. Enjoy shopping in the local bazar of Jaipur. 

 

Day 6: Jaipur to Pushkar

After breakfast, leave for Pushkar, a small town about 140 km from Jaipur, famous for it's yearly camel fair. En-route visit Ajmer Sharif Dargah, a sufi shrine. In Pushkar, check into your hotel and after some rest, see the only Brahma Temple of the country. Spend some time on the ghats of Pushkar lake. Shop for handicrafts and clothes in the local market. Come back to your hotel for a good sleep.

 

Day 7: Pushkar to Delhi

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and leave for the long journey to Delhi. Check into your hotel in Delhi or get dropped at the airport/railway station.

 

When to Travel

  • Winter: September to March - best and peak tourist season

  • Monsoon: July to September - the forts & the palaces appear at their best

  • Summer: April to September - best for off season budget travel
